Recently my Focusrite Scarlett passed away, and I got to borrow a Zoom H6 field recorder from a friend. The thing is it’s both a recorder AND an interface.
… and it sounds amazing! It’s basically the same price as a Scarlett, but to me it just sounds soooo much better, and is also way more flexible as it’s also a battery driven mobile field recorder.
Have any of you tried using the Zoom H6 as an interface? Asking as I found it pretty amazing that I’ve never seen it mentioned as a quality alternative to the other interfaces out there.
