It’s a microphone emulaton which is getting good reviews all over the internet, and I just wanted to check with you guys if you have any experience with the microphone and plugins?
Pros and cons? Would you reccomend or might there be an even better alternative?

Hi, I have just recognized your question. I personally didn’t try the Townsend, but I have tried the Slate ML2, it is almost the same technology. Man, if you could have only one instrument mic, it must be this one. It is incredible close to the modelled ones, I can only recommend. I became so enthusiastic over it I bought the bigger one (ML1) also. I know these mics are not the original, but they are so close, and you have several options at your disposal. You can learn the charasteristics of all mics, you can experiment with them. And after all you can by that original one which you most prefer.
