Side Chaining In prtools issues HELP!

I am attempting to side chain my kick to bass for some reason when i go into the input for the side chain the only options i am given are audio 1-16. Where as I should see the name of the actual track i will say the only thing different i am doing is running my sound through my studio live mixer rather than my digi 002. My side chain is being fed by all the tracks assuming i do not have one individual one in solo. Any suggestions?

Hi…I had to look this up as I use PT as well. Route the kick out through a send (say Send 5) and then you will see in the sidechain panel of Pro C2 that you can select it.

and you shoudl be good to go. the help menu for pro c2 says this, but it’s not very clear.
