Hey y’all just a quick question, when using a Delay Plug-In is it better to have the Plug-In directly on the Track or should I Send to a Return Track, put the Delay on the Return Track and make it fully Wet?
Return track is nearly always best, as you have much more flexibility over the delay. For example, you can send multiple tracks to that delay, you can EQ pre/post delay, add saturation etc.
