Hey is there a demonstration of proper reference track use in Ableton? Without referencing I’m in the dark over here, hehe.
I put Metric A/B on the Master Buss

Create a separate audio track for Your reference and set “Audio To” to External Out. In External out choose output channels of your sound card. Now sound from Your reference channel goes directly to your soundcard output, bypassing master fx chain. Now you can A/B your master chain with reference track with Solo button on reference track. Hope it helps
