Loudness Matching

Hey Guys,

As part of the MixMaster Wyatt workflow, we always use reference tracks. I’m currently mastering a song which his reference track has a LUFS of -7, but when I match the loudness of my track to -7, it sounds quieter than the reference. So same LUFS, but reference is still louder in my opinion…

Do you know how I can avoid that and match the loudness with the same LUFS?
