Is offline processing samples recorded at 96k sr the highest fidelity method of pitch shifting?
I’m always looking for good algorithms since I find Abletons lacking for my purposes
not sure I understand your question correctly, and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but here’s my take on pitch

The little alter boy from Soundtoys does an excellent job in terms of pitching

Click the audioclip. Pick Complex pro and transpose the clip as many cents as you like. The warp option also plays a role here.

As far as I know 96000 doesn’t go well with 44000 sessions. just make a 44000 session and import the sample at 24 og 32 bit, and you should be fine
