I’m still mulling over buying into Cubase Pro 9.5 I see that aside from the the full price, and the edu pricing their is a competitive crossgrade price similar to edu price of $325 on Sweetwater (also Alto).
I’m finding out more with the sales engineer there. I’ll let you know if I learn something of interest.
UPDATE:
Sweetwater says there is 36 month financing on purchasing this cross grade. When you register your product you must provide proof of ownership of the product you did the cross grade from. This has made the decision a bit less painful knowing I get full license and 36 months to pay it off… wooo hooo.
