Good afternoon.
The purpose of this topic-forum concerns the new Fairlight Audio application within DeVinci Resolve Studio 14, in which the new audio application has some new mixing/master features for post production in film.
As such, has anyone been able to assess the Fairlight Audio’s mixing/mastering capabilities compared to other DAWs that specialize in audio-recording and mixing/mastering? (Fairlight Audio also has the ability for full automation “for virtually any parameter, even plug-ins”)
The reason why I ask this question, because I have this particular software (i.e., DeVinci Resolve Studio 14) and Pro Tools 10, and if I could reduce the “round-tripping” then that would be an added benefit for me in post production to save some time.
